Occupation:

The objectives of the Associate of Science Nursing Program is to provide the knowledge, clinical skills, nursing values, meanings and experience necessary for an entry-level professional nursing position.  This program will prepare the student for employment as a licensed registered nurse.  This program is designed to prepare the graduate to utilize and apply the nursing process to provide nursing care to clients across the life span in a variety of settings.  Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will receive an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
